Song wars: LAPOE vs. Bullet the Blue Sky

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.

how about the edge merging the solo at the end of lapoe into the btbs solo, then a snippet of btbs just a thought:wink:

I hear the similarities. Even U2 has acknowledged the similarities by placing Love and Peace in the same spot on the album that Bullet occupied 17 years ago on Joshua, but I'm just not hearing Love and Peace as a song on the same level as Bullet. Yet. In fact, the song pisses me off a bit. There's a moment when the guitars should explode like shotgun blasts of diesel-driven powerchord and they just really kinda wimp out in the production.

I'll acknowledge that I haven't given this song much of a chance yet.

Force of Nature always reminded me of Zep. :) Well, maybe not lyrically.

The riff is similar to FON, but LAPOE is vastly superior..I see FON as an embarassment to Oasis, its so crappy.

Agreed and agreed.

I hate the lyrics to Force of Nature. But the song, vocally and musically, has balls.

Don't mind ponkine, he's an arrogant sourpuss.

Please don´t use those words again, I didn´t say anything bad about you, so you shouldn´t say bad things about me :(
