I know many people do not really like this song, but I do. It's a great, fun song. Bluesy, yet the mood is not so somber as on the rest of The Joshua Tree. One of the highlights of that album for me.

I love this song! I love the fact that's its fun and bright. I love the whooping and woo-hooing. I love the harmonica.

What I don't love is the fact that songs like Spanish Eyes or Sweetest Thing could have been on the album, instead of Trip Through Your Wires.

A definite favorite off of The Joshua Tree, as well as a favorite in the entire U2 catalog. It's just a fun, rocking little tune. Good to see some appreciation for it .

Worst song U2 ever wrote - ruins JT even more than things like "Bullet" ("Bullet" may work in concert, but is heinous on the album). "Trip" is a disaster of a song and should have been, at best, a b-side, if not vaulted.

What is this? You have a song for every day of the year?

Trip Thru Your Wires is good but not great, in my opinion. The main problem is that it sticks out like a sore thumb. It's the only light hearted song in an album full of serious material. It should've been released as a b-side or shelved for a different album.
