official lyrics have been posted on u2.com:

The problem is all inside your head
She said to me
The answer is easy if you
Take it logically
I'd like to help you in your struggle
To be free
There must be fifty ways
To leave your lover

She said it's really not my habit
To intrude
Furthermore, I hope my meaning
Won't be lost or misconstrued
But I'll repeat myself
At the risk of being crude
There must be fifty ways
To leave your lover
Fifty ways to leave your lover

You Just slip out the back, Jack
Make a new plan, Stan
You don't need to be coy, Roy
Just get yourself free
Hop on the bus, Gus
You don't need to discuss much
Just drop off the key, Lee
And get yourself free

She said it grieves me so
To see you in such pain
I wish there was something I could do
To make you smile again
I said I appreciate that
And would you please explain
About the fifty ways

She said why don't we both
Just sleep on it tonight
And I believe in the morning
You'll begin to see the light
And then she kissed me
And I realized she probably was right
There must be fifty ways
To leave your lover
Fifty ways to leave your lover

You Just slip out the back, Jack
Make a new plan, Stan
You don't need to be coy, Roy
Just get yourself free
Hop on the bus, Gus
You don't need to discuss much
Just drop off the key, Lee
And get yourself free

Also, it's taken two hours, but I love this song.

Wow! great to hear!
I think I'm on my 12th listen, and just relieved and happy with this song. They were able to bring looseness to a tight rocker, groove that sounds natural, and be organic yet modern??...
Made my week.

Like a good U2 song, it has to grow. It's going to be way too much to ask for them to completely reinvent themselves, plus it's not like they're classical musicians. Every song of theirs pretty much has the same time

The rhythm section definitely brought it, and it's funny with how hard the drums are when you see Larry playing along it looks like he's barely even playing. Obviously in the studio he can probably hammer away a little more than he does in a live setting....and at his age....

The song is much darker than the previous RAWK songs they've put out. Vertigo may have been darker had we not gotten the Spanish and YEAH YEAH YEAH. Glad Bono tempered himself on this one, though with the "live" sound it's so hard to hear him. I would gladly take a softer Bono compared to previous albums. His vocal mix is always so fucking loud compared to everything else.

If I had to guess who produced, probably rock guys, Barlow/Thomas. Definitely get that Royal Blood vibe. I'm sure Tedder helped the band land the hooks for the album

Curious to see about TBT next week. U2 can be such a great pop song band, if they stay away from the Crazy/SFS formula.

Funny how for the past 24 hours so many folks were sure that this would be available via all sorts of methods, not just facebook.

But U2 obviously didn't want to release a studio version quite yet, so we're getting a crowd noise version that isn't exactly suitable for download.

Rank ' em!

1) The Little Things That Give You Away
2) You're The Best Thing About Me
3) The Blackout

NOTE: ranked in order of how many times I've listened to each :D
(That's the proper way to rank 'em, right?)

So if you listen with about 1:40 left on the Facebook video, you can hear this going on:

Was really hoping that would be the intro and more prominent. Perhaps the album mix will have it.

Honestly, from what I have heard in "The Blackout", "The Little Things that Give You Away", and "You're the Best Thing About Me", this album already seems like a strong outing. I am excited to see the studio version of "YTHBTAM", and the other songs from the album over the next few weeks/months.

They don't want it to take too much attention away from The Best Thing, the real single. I think it really is "for the fans"; I suspect they're doing this because The Best Thing is probably really contemporary in its sound and they don't want existing, older fans thinking that SoE is not gonna be for them too.

So my Vertigo meets Achtung Baby description suited?
Also you can see my arms... :)

And sorry, it wasn't a meteorite...

I have the same feeling of listening to " The Fly " for the first time in 1991........ I am in complete awe....... I am over the moon out of pure happiness ....... what stupendous production !!!! Bono, Edge, Larry all shine...... and Adam just fucking rules, kills, nails ( whatever adjective you give to him will be inadequate )

1) Blackout
2) Best thing (remix), might change once we hear the full U2 version.

3) Little things that give you away
