Will wait to actually hear it, but in regards to the description I prefer U2 stay away from Beatles sound. That's what they've been striving for after Pop, and ATYCLB is the only record that works

Just watched the interview with Zane. Good stuff... although the end of the "following America into the bathroom with the liner notes" lines Bono keeps trotting out can't come soon enough.

Me neither. To be honest, I'd just like a release date please.

Will have a listen to the full thing tomorrow as it's apparently a good interview, but the stuff mentioned in here just sounds like a typical paint-by-numbers U2 interview, right down to Bono quoting some random lyrics.

Like I've said before, the band know how important Songs Of Experience is especially as a follow up to the success of touring the Joshua Tree.

I believe they will deliver...whenever it comes out.
I agree! It's a big moment coming up the release of this album, and after the controversy surrounding the still good SOI, they need to better themselves with this record

I have no interest in watching this video, but I'm waiting with baited breath for somebody to give me an evaluation or everyone's body language and what it means for the album

Nothing really to pick apart and evaluate.

... unless you count the fistfight. There's probably a lot to unpack there.
