December 2, 2001: Miami, Florida.
The end of The Elevation Tour. This is still the best overall U2 concert I've been to (of seven). A magic night, to say the least. Among the highlights:An extended Beautiful Day, a rocking Out Of Control, a moving tribute to Michael Hutchence in the form of Knocking On Heaven's Door, Please, In God's Country!!!....oh yeah, and Larry played drums with Garbage! (I just wish there was a true soundboard boot of this show...I hate click tracks!)
Main Set: Elevation, Beautiful Day, Until the End of the World, Mysterious Ways, Out of Control, Sunday Bloody Sunday, Stuck in a Moment, Kite, In God's Country, Knockin' on Heaven's Door, Please (acoustic), Bad / Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses, Where the Streets Have No Name, I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, Pride
Encore(s): Bullet the Blue Sky, What's Going On?, New York, One, My Sweet Lord, Walk On / 40
Comments: Larry plays drums on 'Only Happy When It Rains', the last song of Garbage's set. 'In God's Country' is complete with harmonica tonight. Bono stops to thank a bunch of people, including Sheila Roche, Paul McGuinness and Chris Blackwell before 'One'.
