Of the seven deadly sins listed below, which one(s) are you most guilty of?

For me, I would say Pride and Greed.

Pride

Envy

Gluttony

Lust

Anger

Greed

Sloth

Unfortunately, lately, definitely SLOTH.

I'd better not even comment on lust

If you are really good friends with The Edge, you can just call him The~ Adam

The right side of my brain is kinda redundant~ Larry

Hmmm, how can you be guilty of pride?

I guess for me it's probably envy...

I guess for Pride - if you get in a bad argument, an example of being guilty of Pride would be being unable to ever say you're sorry, or express regret over something bad you've done.

One interpretation:

Pride is excessive belief in one's own abilities, that interferes with the individual's recognition of the grace of God.

I think everyone, at one time or another, has been guilty of all of these..

but the most, I'd say, is either Pride, Anger, or Envy

Want more on the seven deadly sins? Watch the movie SEVEN, with Brad Pitt and Kevin Spacey. Really, really creepy

Thx for the lesson in Pride guys! I feel really stupid now.

C. S. Lewis on Spiritual Pride:

(Note that SCREWTAPE considers Spiritual Pride to be the "strongest and most beautiful of vices"; therefore, his point of view is hopefully quite different from our own).

My dear Wormwood,

The World and the Flesh have
failed us; a third Power remains. And success of this third kind is the most glorious of all. A spoiled saint, a Pharisee, an inquisitor, or a magician, makes better sport in Hell than a mere common tyrant or debauchee.

Your affectionate uncle,

SCREWTAPE

Where have you been. At first I thought you were the copycat. But you registered before me. Shame on you.

My dear S Tape,

I am delighted to see another fan of C. S. Lewis. I mostly just read; however, obviously I could not pass up this post.

hope to see you around in the future
