i love that film! the first time i saw it i thought it was some amateur video thing..was very shocked when bono actually walks in the shop!

i knew so so many girls like that...
the thing is, it is like that
if you are looking you might not find
but whenever i just gave up the chase
and would be sitting in a pub having a
beer or walking along not paying attention
he would pop up
like a lovely surprise birthday present.
I used to go over to go over to the windmill lane
area for drama classes (this was years and years ago, mind) and i would always pass the studio
sometimes he would drive by on his way to and fro
one day, for no reason whatever, he stopped and gave me a lift... all the way to the gates of windmill lane from o'connell
he said here you are... and i said thanks
then i proceeded to start walking the 2 blocks on to class
he pulled up again and said 'i thought you were coming to wait outside the studio, i see you here a lot'
i had to tell him he was mistaken, i just walked by the place on my way to class
he turned bright pink and said
'right then, well wave me down if you ever need another lift'
true story

i lived in dublin for about 3 years and had many lovely moments
they were always lovely...
my bono crush went off the meter while living there though, and has never really gone away

my first few months at Uni i was obsessed with meeting bono... it did'nt happen... then one day there he was... everytime i wasn't looking he would turn up...
that is how it seems to happen
