Isn't it unusual for a single to be released on a Friday? I thought it was normally a monday for all singles?

Yeah it's Monday/Tuesday US for things to be released in the stores, I don't think there's a certain day for radio releases though? Beautiful Day was released to radio on a Thursday....

I just read on the Zootopia part of U2.com, that the Radio Airplay of the single starts on sept. 24th, and the actual release in nov.8th?
Have I just totally misunderstood what was written on u2news a couple of days ago?? It's probably just me getting it wrong, but I was suddenly looking forward to the single being released on sept 24th...

The article says - 'set for release on sept 24th'. I suppose that could mean radio release rather than the actual single.
When you think about it, Sept.24 - Nov.22 is a long time between the 1st single and the album.

U2 couldn't possibly release the track a month and a half BEFORE the actual release of the single. That is idiotic business. Everyone would have heard the song a million times and not buy it. I respect U2's managment more than that!
