Been in Thailand the past two weeks, but man oh man are those scores for Zooropa depressing. 11 tens for The Wanderer? Fifth best on the album? Not a single 10 for Some Days? Fuck. You guys suck.

And Nick, your scores for Pop songs makes your opinion invalid. Don't really care if that gets me banned or anything. This forum is a fucking cesspool.

Wow. Most people who go to Thailand come back in a good mood.

I think perhaps you need to go back to Phuket and pay for another "massage". Maybe that will improve your disposition, mate.

I think anyone who spent two weeks in Thailand, only to return to the cruel reality of Nick66 posts, would be understandably upset.

Agreed, it's probably even worse than returning to work.

That doesn't even look bad to me. Though I guess it could've been much more accurate if you look at the ridiculously high standard deviation on most.

I think these results would be a lot more meaningful if we could have just three more decimal places on the mean... For example, if the "The Playboy Mansion" is not merely a 6.3461538462 and is in fact a 6.3461538462493, then I may have to re-assess my whole opinion of U2.

I'm not sure if I should interpret this as a snarky attack on me or not. If it is, I'm sorry that OpenOffice provides so many decimal places and that I screenshot it?

I like Discotheque fine, but I'm stunned it got an 8.5, above Wake Up Dead Man and Last Night On Earth. Sometimes it's like I don't even know you people!

Gone destroying everything else on the album is alright by me.

'Gone' as the top vote, I think is well deserved. Though I would have liked to see 'Please' come out on top, but hey, second place is good too. Glad to see 'DYFL' in the top five.

Miami got the bottom of the 12?! Can't say I saw that coming, someone voted a ten on that mother...what the fuck? ;punintended;

:lmao:

What a joke.

The ambassador for the real world is not amused!

I'm not that big of a fan of Zooropa, but it's still nice to see it winning. The only thorn in my eye is So Cruel above Do You Feel Loved. That looks kinda nasty.

Shouldn't you, I don't know, be reading Pitchfork or something, rather than stalking me?

I hate Pitchfork.

And again and again, you're giving yourself waaay too much credit.

Well, you seem taken enough with me and my comments to respond to a good number of them. Have you noticed I never comment on anything you say? (unless it's directed towards me)

That's what we call a one-way relationship. Most people get the hint. ;)

Haha, this ignoring thing is working for you quite well I see.

Excellent results!

Sorry...I can't take any list that has songs like Gone, Lemon, HTKK, YBR and Lady With The Spinning Head and MOFO over songs like Zoo Station, EBTTRT, Mysterious Ways and One seriously. It just shows how completely out of touch this place is with the outside U2-loving world. Those may be great songs, but WTF...no serious appraisal of 90's U2 would put One at number seven-freaking-teen, BELOW Lady With The Spinning Head, a throw away B-Side. Give a break. Again, this has nothing to do with Dig's excellent work on this series, but these results are not to be taken seriously.

This is mostly just people trying to show how hip and in the know they think they are by voting for more obscure tracks. I get it...but it's just sort of silly.

you're absolutely correct. I don't like the song Zooropa more than One or Gone more than Mysterious Ways, i just act like it to impress people on the internet.
