VOTE FOR YOUR LEAST FAVORITE SONG

Polls will remain open for 24 hours for the non-album track rounds.

Songs in this round:

- The Three Sunrises
- Love Comes Tumbling
- Bass Trap

Criteria for song selection (at least for the albums): anything on the regular pressings of the Best Of 1980-1990, Best Of 1990-2000, and U2:18 is excluded.

If you are unfamiliar with these songs, please post your email address, and I will email you links to download the songs in these non-album rounds (even though most of us may have some of the songs already).

You people kicked out Treasure?

Love Comes Tumbling again.

Love Comes Tumbling, again.

Bass Trap FTW (even though Boomerang II is better).

Voted Bass Trap. It is gorgeous, but I've loved the other 2 longer. These last 4 are all so good, it was great that they ended up the final 4.

Yeah, Bass Trap is quite clearly the best song here if you ask me.

Please... LCT is the best by far!!! Three Sunrises can go now. :p

Or even Basstrap can go.

LCT deserves album status.

How on earth is Bass Trap losing?

I honestly consider it the best instrumental I've ever heard. And I listen to a shitload of instrumentals. Sure, Explosions In The Sky, The Shadows, Russian Circles, etc. are really sensationally good, but Bass Trap is just so astonishingly beautiful. I can't believe U2 of all bands made it.

aye, Bass Trap is about as masterful an instrumental as you're ever gonna hear from a rock band

I honestly don't see the mass appeal in Bass Trap. It's atmosphere, and that's it.

I think it's good, but certainly not better than Three Sunrises.

I'm for Love Comes Tumbling to win.

Hell no. It's a good song, but it's not in the same league as the great ones like Bass Trap, Treasure, Boomerang II, The Three Sunrises, etc. I'd probably rank it in the bottom four songs in this category.

:(Bass Trap is not doing so well :(
It should`ve been on the album , it has the atmos oh so much:drool:

But I voted Love Comes Tumbling.

Cheers ,

Mauwer

p.s. Since Bass Trap seems like it`s out , Three Sunrises FTW!!!!

No way. It's one of the best here and should've been on The Unforgettable Fire.

Besides SSIKC, I think the other UF b-sides all have more of a case to be on UF itself than Love Comes Tumbling.

Now, I don't mean to say it's a bad song. I like it - a lot. Probably more than anything U2's released in the last five years. But I cannot at all agree that it is better than Bass Trap or The Three Sunrises.

I rank it fifth out of these. Boomerang II is the best, Bass Trap second, Treasure third.
