I downloaded it yesterday, it's cool, nothing special though (well IMO)

Dr.Teeth, Herbert from U2Guatemala informed that the remix whas created by Peter 'Crayon' Hanning, some months ago as an answer to a U2 Guatemala special request. He said also that the guy was delighted to do it.

Ok, not a year, but since March 17, 2001. It was mixed by Hanning and released on some sites awhile ago, then I guess everyone forgot it. It's one of my more favourite fan remixes. I still wish U2 had played this long and given it an edge.

i think there is a cool remix of either gone or lnoe called a crayon mix.
the gone one i'm thinking of has a bono quote at the beginning and the song is sped up quite a bit i think.
