8 for VDL. Good song, not quite great.

Fuck the live covers. I say stick to rating original U2 songs.

yeah bugger the live renditions.

i give this a 5, nothing really interesting or special, though i do enjoy some of the vocals.

they could have at least properly mastered this or whatever on the album, instead of taking the version out of the movie, with the cheering at the start and the interview at the end.

7 for Van Diemen's Land.

@ Helter Skelter, it's a great song, and U2's live cover is the best cover there is. What's it doing on an album, you tell me, and no, I don't see why we should rate live covers, but it's an awesome song. As with All Along the Watchtower.

10. Damn you all ;)

Could ditch the live tracks, but it's worth noting that R&H Bullet >>> JT Bullet.

I rated it 10 because I love it very very much. The lyrics, the vocals.. everything! But in hindsight, maybe I could have given it a 9, because it does end too soon. :hmm:

Why does Bono have a guitar here?

:insertwhydoesheeverhaveaguitarjokehere:

Seriously tho, did they do another song or something? Why not just use a bongo Bono? Wait..Bongo Bono...that's ace

Yes, they also played Desire that night.

U2 aren't a bad covers band in my opinion, they've had some winners.

But those two in particular are pretty bad. The energy's there, but I don't ever want to hear them cover All Along the Watchtower again.
