I really like this song. I think the arrangement is great and the opening verse has some of my favorite U2 lyrics ever.

Mine too. Great song, one of Bono's most beautiful vocals. Unususal song for U2, great vibe to it. Heartbreaking. Definite 10.

haha i know. i didn't get involved with the bickering in that thread and don't really care to in general, but i think it's almost out of principle that one was dragged down. which i dont get why. it's easily one of their best songs, certainly better than so cruel. but hey, to each their own.
