Finally, let's finish up the 1980s on this Rate The Song series! Today, we will address the final non-album songs from the late 80s included in this competition. They are:

She's a Mystery To Me

Deep in the Heart

Beautiful Ghost/Introduction to Songs of Experience

Desert of Our Love

Rise Up

Yoshino Blossom

Please rate Beautiful Ghost/Introduction to Songs of Experience on a scale from 0 to 10, using whatever criteria you feel allows you to best evaluate the song as a whole. I will not set criteria for people to based on, but if you feel like your best evaluation of the merits of a song comes from voting only based on, say, the studio version, go right ahead and vote that way. Full information on the Rate The Song series may be found in this thread.

Have fun! This poll will close in 96 hours.

I really like this. Evocative lyrics and music, listening to it I feel like I could be in one of those Nevada(?) ghost towns at sunrise.

A gorgeous tapestry woven together with ethereal threads by Brian Eno, seamlessly joining U2's music with Wiliam Blake's words into a surreal landscape. U2 would call upon Blake again at Glastonbury to mixed results, but here it works with utter perfection…."The Starry Floor".

One of the best things U2 has ever done. 10.

As others have said, strange, interesting, and a tiny bit too long. Pretty good. Giving it an 7.
