On my Oct 10 Notre Dame bootleg -- before Bono starts singing WOWY, he says something like "If you were born 10 months after this song came out, this is for you."

Does anyone know what he's talking about? It's been driving me bonkers!

I think that's actually what Bono meant. I'm sure he just assumed that song got people "in the mood."
