Question about the Mirrorball man

I know Bono played him every show of the arena tour and the two times I saw them on Zoo TV Outside Broadcast he played the character, what I'm curious to know is did he play the Mirrorball man the entire Outside Broadcast tour? I read somewhere he played thta character only for the early portion of the tour and did he use this character in Mexico?

I think MacPhisto was only used in Europe, Australia and Japan. So MM was the US character, and I don't know about Mexico. I didn't even know ZOOTV went there

U2 played 4 Dates there...3 Bootlegs have been seen, i think one show was not recorded at all, but the audience anyway...some of the zoo tv crew might have it
