Anyway, as I listened to the song this morning I was wondering, is Edge the one actually singing "Shake it, shake it, shake it Salome"??? because it doesn't really sound like Bono to me. It sounds more like Edge. Anyone know???

Thanks.

That's actually Salome singing it...that's why they named the song after him.

I don't know -- I've been wondering myself. It sounds higher than Bono's voice, more like Edge, so it definitely seems to be a possibility.

"You must not look down on someone just 'cos they are 14 years old. When I was that age I listened to the music of John Lennon and it changed my way of seeing things, so I'm just glad that 14 year olds are coming to see U2 rather than group X." - Bono, 1988

I thought it was a chorus with edge, bono, daniel lanois, and brian eno. or some combination of those 4... either way pretty sure there is more than one person singin that part.

I am sure that "Shake it shake it shake it" is Edge, though maybe Bono comes in on "Salome" or something.
