OK, so every week, I’ll give you a new playlist. You burn it, iTunes it, whatever you have to do. And then give it a listen. Now, I know this is coming in mid-week, but we have a long weekend coming up, so next Tuesday, I’ll have a new play list.

Listen and enjoy!

1. Gone
2. Beautiful Day
3. All Because Of You
4. Do You feel Loved
5. Yahweh
6. Who’s Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses
7. In A Little While
8. The First Time
9. The Hands That Build America (Best Of version)
10. Everlasting Love
11. God Part II
12. Electrical Storm

note: Electrical Storm is NOT the William Orbit mix – that will be saved for a later date

I'll try it for sure. But with ABOY there it will be a big sacrifice :|

Be strong. We're here for you.

That's actually gonna be the cool thing about this - songs that you may not normally like might work on a different context surrounded by different songs.

Eh, whaddya got to lose?

Absolutely agree 100 %% !!

I'll even give this list a listen even with Wild Horses, Little While and The First Time ...
as I don't really care for those songs either !!

But, I'd listen to all of them in a second, over 'All Because Of You'
just cannot stand that song ... no matter what !! :yuck:

so much hate....so....much....hate.....

maybe this was a bad idea

no it wasn't  I haven't listened for ABOY, hands that built america and everlasting love for a "long" time (can't stand the first one, the other two are boring and mean nothing to me) so it will be cool.

Well, I must say I liked hearing the playlist. It's U2, it's always good.

I really liked DYFL - Yahweh - Wild Horses, great trilogy! But The First Time + Hands that built america is a lot boring. God part II was a bit out of place but Electrical Storm is a cool way to end a playlist.

Oh, and the solo in ABOY really rocks and the last verse is cool but the whole of the song is really lame.

OK - note to self - no matter what playlist you make there will be at least one song people will hate.
Got it.
OK, off to create the next playlist, maybe even for tomorrow...

i love all because of you

So do I, even though I think it's the second-weakest song on HTDAAB. Fantastic pure rock and roll!

As far as IALW goes, I'd love that song if all the lyrics were removed apart from the rocketship verse. Great instrumentation, one great verse - but the rest of the lyrics are terrible and their delivery even worse. A semi-instrumental version, however ...

By the way, should this playlist use the Pop or New version of Gone?

(I personally like the New one better ...)

Not to sabotage the thread but I just threw together my own playlist:

1. Zoo Station
2. Hold Me, Thrill Me, ......
3. Lady with the Spinning Head
4. Numb
5. Please
6. Love and Peace or Else
7. Tomorrow
8. Rejoice
9. Stories for Boys
10. An Cat Dubh/Into the Heart
11. Fast Cars
12. Are You Gonna Wait Forever
13. All Becasue of You(Alternate version)
14. Smile
15. Native Son
16. Mercy
17. Your Blue Room

It also fits on an 80 minute disc.

I like all them songs, except Do you feel loved, I even like ABOY and IALW, the 2nd one manly because that rocketship verse, really brings the song up a rating.
