I was thinking of doing the same thing. Drop the name of an entirely different album.

Anyway, I prefer BOY overall but do love October too!

edit: For some reason I read War as October!

Okay, in that case... WAR it is!!!

New Years Day
Sunday Bloody Sunday
Seconds
Like A Song
40
Surrender
The Refugee

Boy, but that's a hard choice, and I may give a different answer if asked in the future

Well, my U2 album rankings are 4. Boy and 5. War, which gives my answer.

"Who buys U2 records anyway? It's just music for plumbers and bricklayers. Bono, what a slob. You'd think with all that climbing about he does, he'd look real fit and that. But he's real fat, y'know. Reminds me of a soddin' mountain goat."
"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."

Boy is a stronger album throughout, but War has the strongest A-side of any U2 album. The first 5 songs on War are the 5 best of the album. I can't say that for any other U2 album (ALMOST Joshua Tree, but I'd take Exit over Still Haven't Found and Bullet).

So, yeah, Pop

The intensity and passion in Bono's vocals and the guitars and drums is indescribable! One of the best songs of the early years!!!

Truly though, I didn't even think it was a contest. As much as a dislike the production... War.

I'll have to do this track-by-track...I'm going to include ACT and ITH as one track since they are played together and also because it makes it an even 10 against 10.

I Will Follow < Sunday Bloody Sunday
Twilight < Seconds
ACD/ITH < New Year's Day
Out Of Control < Like A Song
Stories For Boys < Drowning Man
The Ocean < The Refugee
A Day Without Me > Two Hearts Beat As One
Another Time Another Place > Red Light
The Electric Co. < Surrender
Shadows And Tall Trees > "40"

War 7
Boy 3

So, War.

Of course, I could've said War based soley on the fact that it has NYD, and that Boy doesn't
