PLEASE VOTE FOR YOUR LEAST FAVOURITE SONG!

Fourth place in Non-Single Survivor goes to The Electric Co.

We're now up to the penultimate Non-Single Survivor round! The previous round was very close and the Voting Results were:

34 - The Electric Co.
32 - Zooropa
24 - Zoo Station
9 - Running To Stand Still

Total votes = 99

First place: ???
Second place: ???
Third place: ???
Fourth place: The Electric Co.
Fifth place: Heartland

Eliminated During Earlier Stages Of The Final:
6. Kite
5. Like A Song ...
4. Promenade
3. Do You Feel Loved
2. Love And Peace Or Else
1. Tomorrow

How to play: Each album will have a series of rounds of voting. In an album's first round, all non-singles from the album will be listed and you vote for the song you think is the WORST. The song with the most votes is eliminated. This continues through the subsequent rounds until we are left with just one song from each album. These victorious songs proceed to the final, which will be conducted in the same manner until just one song is left, which you can consider to be the Best Non-Single or Least Objectionable Non-Single, depending upon your perspective.

If there's a draw, for most rounds, both songs are eliminated. If there's only 2 or 3 songs left, I'll leave the poll open for another day, when there'll hopefully be a decisive outcome.

Zoo Station, not that it matters, since the winner has been obvious for the past week. (and rightfully so, I might add)

I have a hard time seeing how RTSS is better than Zooropa. Zooropa is an absolute work of art, one of U2's greatest masterpieces. RTSS on the album, however, starts poorly and doesn't have the great "still running" or "hallelujah" endings of the live versions. I think RTSS is a great live song, especially on ZooTV, but I do not think it should have beaten Red Hill Mining Town to be the JT winner, and I definitely do not think it should win the entire contest.

While i agree with you that Zooropa is great Running to stand still is better. It dosen't need all the effects of zooropa its just the band its so stripped back and simple and amazing to listen to. It creates an atmosphere that not many songs can, well for me anyway.

Zoo Station

RTSS.

I don't want that song to win. It's downright dull on the album. Live, it's good. BUT WE'RE NOT VOTING ON LIVE VERSIONS.

I voted RTSS

Both Zooropa and Zoo Station are way better.

It's no coincidence they were both chosen as opening tracks.

I think Running is Beautiful
Zoo Station is Rockin
And Zooropa is just =Drool:drool: undescribable.

I think I have to be honest with myself and say that If I had to go the rest of my life without on of these songs, I would pick...

-votes Zoo Station- album version just doesnt have the same umph as the rest.

sadly, I have to pick Running To Stand Still...the live version of this song is one of my favorites, and I wish they would have done the same thing for the studio recording....

Zooropa and Zoo Station are genius songs.

Zooropa, but very tough choice. Even though RTSS is even better live, I still like it on the album. There's something in "you've got to cry without weeping/talk without speaking/scream without raising your voice"------it's an electricity that slowly builds and then zaps! I love it every time.

Zooropa, like I said yesterday, I love, but I can't listen to it all the time.

Zoo Station rocks, but rocks best when I'm in an AB mood.

RTSS, I can probably listen to this no matter what mood I'm in.

It pains me so to see most of the votes going to my top two U2 songs.

Zoo Station.

RTSS is going to win because it's one of the best songs off of U2's best album. Zooropa should be second because it's U2's second best song off of their most experimental album. Zoo Station shouldn't have gotten this far, as there are much better non-singles on Achtung. So it goes.

Not to say Zoo Station's bad. It just pales in comparison.
