Night and Day references...

Here I sit toiling away at work listening to Boston #2, and a thought went through my mind.

Bono uses many many referneces to night and day (not the song), and he does so in a way to describe the length, the light, the mood etc. mostly in a very poetic way.

I was listening to In a Little While when I heard the line,

"...when the night takes its deep breath, and the day has no air..."

What other lines has he constructed using this idea???

i'm probably thinking along the wrong lines, but i was thinking of that line from hawkmoon 269 where he sez "when the night has no end, and the day yet to begin..." *shrugs*
