I was listening to my Bill Joely CDs and I was thinking, you know what might make a nice combo? Billy Joel's "New York state of Mind" leading into U2 's "New York"..

Some folks like to get away, take a holiday from the neighborhood
Hop a flight to miami beach or hollywood.
I?m taking a greyhound on the hudson river line-
I?m in a new york state of mind...

In New York freedom looks like
Too many choices
In New York I found a friend
To drown out the other voices ..

U2 - All I Want Is You
Deep Blue Something - Breakfast At Tiffany's
Lisa Loeb and the Nine Stories - Stay

Cheers,

J

Been around front,been around back....

Actually,I've always thought MoFo came out of the fly.I know it sounds weird,but...

Perfect for cruising down the highway: Springsteen's Born to Run leading into Desire

Cynical ultra cool rock songs: Waterboys' Let It Happen leading into HmeTmeKmeKme

Romance: Berlin's Take My Breath Away leading into All I Want is You

punk rock influence the early years: The Ramones' I Wanna Be Sedated leading into Outta Control

space themed duo: David Bowie's Space Oddysey leading into the Apollo 440 Magic Hour remix of Mysterious Ways

Chris Isaak's Wicked Games leading into U2's cover of Suspicious Minds.

very cool thread Convoy, I'll rate it 5 stars. :)

i always thought the guitar riff from Wire would sound wickedly nasty in bullet the blue sky

Hmmm... How about:

U2 - Some Days Are Better Than Others
The Smiths - Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others
U2 - Big Girls Are Best
