I personally prefer the studio version. It's stronger imho. The song misses something when played live.

As is true with so many U2 songs, you have to hear it live. Studio version is wimpier than it should be - applying Pop's production approach would have made it a true gem, they could have fuzzed it up and made it louder and heavier.
