need help to find U2 song.

hi!

i've been singing some snippets of (i guess) an unknown U2 song for some days now.

the only snippet of the song i remember is something like:

"an affection give me lover u-huh/give me love, give me love..."

is this a U2 song?? or a snippet in f.example Bad??

anyone who can help me find the right song?

do you have any idea where you heard this snippet? during wich song, or a gig or so? then you can track it down on www.u2-vertigo-tour.com their lyric archive includes snippets, and you can search on the tour aswell!

i think it's from a slow song (that's what i hear in my head!) and i guess it's at the very end of the song, just as it's about to fade out, and Bono is singing this ad lib, just making it up as he sings along.

it's very annyoing not knowing which song this snippet is taken from!!

i found the right snippet, it's Love And Affection by Joan Armatrading, and Bono sang it countless times at the climax of Trying To Throw Your Arms Around The World during the Zoo Tv tour.
