If I want to listen to a nice, relaxing U2 mix that soothes me to sleep, I throw on this puppy to get me in the mood to get some shut-eye:

1) An Cat Dubh/ Into The Heart
2) Drowning Man
3) 40
4) Indian Summer Sky
5) A Sort Of Homecoming
6) With or Without You
7) Mothers of The Disappeared
8) Heartland
9) Love Rescue me
10) All I Want Is You
11) Satellite of Love
12) Everlasting Love
13) So Cruel
14) Love Is Blindness
15) Stay
16) Dirty Day
17) The First Time
18) If God Will Send His Angels
19) Wake Up Dead Man
20) Grace

These ones have helped me in the past, along with a few of yours.

Peace on Earth
Tomorrow
October
Elvis Presley and America

Can't overlook One Step Closer. It's absolutely gorgeous and soothing.

Really, I can't fall asleep to U2's music, I end up wanting to keep listening to it, especially since I've over the past couple years, been really paying attention to the bass on U2 albums.

You can fall sleep to Indian Summer Sky?

I dunno, I knew this guy that said he fell asleep to heavy metal  , so whatever works for ye.

Add these ones as well :

Slide Away
Luminous Times
Smile
North & South of the river
She's a mystery girl (Roy Orbison, written by Bono & Edge)

Zooropa and Unforgettable Fire are great albums to go to sleep to.

Best song to fall asleep to: Numb

I've also recently added Passengers to my list of great cds to fall asleep to. It's kind of soothing and relaxing in its own way.

I think that Zoo Station, The Fly and Love and Peace to blow your mind, and then some of those songs plus Babyface, Numb, The Ocean and One Step Closer 'd be perfect.

Another good album for sleep is the Captive Soundtrack by Edge.

I've fallen asleep to The Unforgettable Fire before and it's heavenly.

I can fall asleep to any music, really... my little siblings fall asleep to punk rock at full volume!! they fell asleep to The Ramones and then a live performance of Sunday Bloody Sunday...crazy lil kids.

I'm going to add Bono's version of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah. Simply because it belongs on any list with a positive spin

And Zooropa would be a great song to WAKE up to.

I don't know about from the listening point of view but I reckon U2 wrote the last album while they were asleep.
