mp3's versus the new CD: sound quality

No variable bit-rate for me, but the _mp3s sound EXACTLY like this CD does--absolutely no discernable difference. I'm only up to "Sometimes..." so far, but I've noticed less than nothing of note; maybe I'm just going deaf, but I'm pretty sure the stuff we got was "complete" in every way.

Cymbals sound rotten on mp3s, they make a weird whooshing noise...

Okay, maybe everyone except me is an audiophile, but I honestly do not notice a discernable difference. I suppose if I tried to listen really intently I might notice something but if someone played the MP3 and told me it was the original CD, I would believe em.

But then again, I'm one of those people that also can't really tell the difference between pepsi and coke.
