My sentiments exactly.
The Joshua Tree completed U2's emergence into the mainstream, which they later (thankfully) fucked up with the 90's trilogy.
The JT is a good album, maybe a great album, but it's often the last U2 album I would think of grabbing for a listen. (Although, it is quite possible that some time in the future -- as with much of the music in my collection -- I'll be in a phase where I'll listen to The Joshua Tree several times over the span of days or weeks).
ATYCLB is not U2's most overrated album! U2 in the last 2 years has gotten heaps of critical and public acclaim more for a) their live show and b) their legacy, than for the new album itself.
And that's all I have to say about that.
