I'm convinced One Step Closer is the third best song on HTDAAB and I really don't understand why it's hated. Even when I'm tired of modern U2, it's one of the four HTDAAB songs I can always enjoy (the other three being LAPOE, COBL, and Crumbs).

Well, it's not a song that really catches your attention. When you're just kind of halfway listening to HTDAAB in the car or when you're browsing internet forums ( ), you don't take much notice of it and don't really find it too spectacular.

However, when you've got a pair of good headphones on a decent volume with intent to actually listen to the songs, it's brilliant.
