Hmmmm....I'm wondering if the band should just stick to music. The soundtrack to MDH wasn't too bad, and their soundtrack work for other films has been pretty good. MDH the movie, though, seems to be a bit of a flop from the opinions here.... They're attempt at musical theatre in the 90s was a flop..... And I can't say I'm not a bit skeptical about last year's rumor about U2 doing a Spider-Man musical...(!)... I'm hoping that one was either false or gets shelved....

The soundtrack is way overrated too. Too much Mila, not enough U2.

The cinematography was nice, but the movie as a whole was dreadful.

Love the soundtrack, though.

The films crap, and was that bad that even Mel Gibson tried too stop it being released. The musics great though.

I think those were my exact thoughts when I'd watched it.

I was not impressed with the movie. I actually couldn't even finish watching it.

I do love the soundtrack though, except the screaming bit.

I watched the whole thing straight through for the first time today (it's on HBO). I haven't decided yet if I like it or not......

What do you think?

I still feel this way...a few years after seeing it. I felt kind of bad because it didn't grip me right away like I thought it would. It has this whole hazy vibe to it. Maybe it gets better with repeated viewings, to give it some due. Or maybe it just gets hazier.

Bono said Mel's comment ruined the films chances. I don't think his comment would've made any difference. I remember going to watch it at the cinema and no one was there, except me and my partner.

I think the only way the film could've been better was if there was more Bono, Or if Bono acted as Tom Tom .

Overall -Weird Movie
