It's just a decoy version, the first verse just keeps repeating. Worth a listen anyway. It sounds really cool.

What a shame. That really should have been developed as that sounds fucking fantastic. Same idea repeats over and over and fades out which makes you think if it's the finished article. Fresh, addictive, just wonderful. I love this band and have had just the best week imagineable!

Obviously not the full song as it doesn't have the 'dismantle an atomic bomb' line every review quotes but it is pretty damn good, doesn't really fit the album but is very cool.

The source of the Fast Cars leak is probably the record company. It's a common way to thwart illegal downloading. The record company hires firms to distribute loops or phony songs via P2P, so it'll be harder for people to find the real track. In this case, the downloader would think they'd found the real song based on a quick preview, then waste a few minutes inavertantly downloading a loop. Record company wins.
