Mathematically Ranking U2's Tours

Same deal as the Albums thread, but a little different. Rate each tour on a scale of 1-10 in four categories, then average it out. Rank them based on the results at the end, and then list your normal tour rankings. Also, if you don't know enough about any particular tour to rank it, than don't. You'll notice I didn't rank the Boy, October, or UF tours. I just don't know enough about them. As far as the Vertigo Tour goes, rank it just on what it has been thus far.

Hmm, I'm not sure I can really rank a tour I haven't experienced myself, so this will be really short.

Elevation

Performance: 9/10
Presentation: 9/10
Creativity: 7/10 Well I had only seen ZooTv and Popmart on video, so compared to those, it wasn't as cool, but it wasn't exactly, a stage and 4 guys either.
Setlists: 9/10

Vertigo:

Performance: 10/10

Presentation: 10/10 Lighting for this tour, and Adam making surprising strolls around the catwalk, playing keyboard thing, guitar work has improved (on 40). Larry singing here and there, playing that keyboard thing.

Creativity: 8/10 Well they did use the similar heart thing from elevation, but it was still a cool thing to have the "bomb shelter" area
Setlists: 10/10 no complaints from me at the 2 L.A. shows I went to.

I liked the Vertigo tour more than Elevation tour basically.

The stage set-up for Vertigo is almost EXACTLY the same as Elevation! Elevation set the standard, and was one of Willie Williams' career highlights. I loved both tours, but you've got to give credit where credit is due.

But Elevation had those translucent scrims! Those were the pre-cursors to the beads! Elevation was the original!

The beads were so much cooler. Just because something was the original doesn't mean it's better than what follows.
