That's really cool of Bono and cool of Marilyn to remember good deeds. Speaking of good words being passed around about U2 I was watching a show on MTV called testimony 20 years in rock or something and all the guys of old and new bands only had amazing things to say about U2. Marilyn said that he never understood what they were mad about when they first started, it was a great show with lots of laughs.

btw, I heard somewhere that Marilyn Manson was inspired by The Virgin Prunes (ya know the band formed by U2's friends)
