Making U2 CD for Mom

My mom stopped listening to u2 after R&H (I got her into U2 after JT), but I recently made her mixcd that I though she could relate to. Mind you, she also likes Metallica, especially for work-outs. I'll have a look at my list...

for a more mellow cd with Motown influences, I suggest

A Room at the Heartbreak Hotel

My Mom and I had a U2 day a few weeks ago where we watched Rattle & Hum, Slane and the Boston dvd's. When I got home from each of the concerts I went to this last couple weeks she would ask me if they played that Bloody Sunday song. :)

Dude, I have the perfect list of songs for you to make a cd for your mom:

Where The Streets Have No Name
Miracle Drug
Pride
Beautiful Day
City Of Blinding Lights
The Playboy Mansion
Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own
Stuck In A Moment
Yahweh
40
Bad
I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For
Hawkmoon 269
If God Will Send His Angels
One Tree Hill
Ultraviolet (Light My Way)

I made this cd and I LOVE it, every song flows perfectly into the other. I don't know if your mom will like The Playboy Mansion as it seems to be a song that a lot of people dislike (I fucking love it) but if she doesn't you can change it for One (my mom's favorite).

my mom loves Bad for some reason when i listen to it in the car she always comes in and sings at 'I'm wide awaaake..'

haha

just remember. my mom is an immigrant (fob) and she's got a full-out korean accent
