the new Rolling stone on stands now (with Emimen on the cover - go figure) has a page on the ipod venture on pages 15 and 17

Woohoo I finally found the Q magazine at Barnes and Noble ($9 for a magazine? Sheesh!) But the Uncut still isn't the one featuring U2.

There's an article in the Sunday Times Magazine. (7 Nov 2004). Good pics, great interview.

"One theory is that HTDAAB is about dismantling the life and death in 2001 oh his (Bono's) father, Bob hewson, who was a big-time opera fan and a perfect tenor. Since he's gone, Bono walks in a different way; maybe it's his father's walk - maybe he swallowed him. "Or maybe something just lifted", he says, "like a very strange weight, and I am more at ease with myself. And this is as easy as I2ll ever get, and this is pretty good. He is the atomic bombin question and it is his era, the cold-war era, and we had a bit of a cold war, myself and him. When he died, I had no idea what would happen. I did start behaving a little odd, took on more and more projects. Looking back, now I've finally managed to say goodbye, I think that I did do some mad stuff. I got a letter from a friend of mine that said '1) Don't leave your job, 2) your wife, 3) take large sums of money out of the bank.' I wasn't doing any of that, but what he was saying was, when fathers die, sons do mad stuff. I thought I was ready for it."

uncut found in Barnes and Noble in STL (if we in the midwest have it - it is bound to be on the coasts by now)

Hey fah, I found Uncut at Sam the Record Man in Toronto over the weekend so it has hit Canada  :D

Damn, I subscribe to Spin (who piss'es me off, I might add) Windmilllane are you in the US?
It would be one of the first U2 articles/mention since I've subscribed.
Will be looking for mine..soon.. I hope :eyebrow:

Hi everyone i just started posting on here  I actually finally managed to buy Blender at my local Borders in Glasgow, Scotland after looking for ages, after reading how everyone's been going on about that mag and seeing the pics, it was so super and great to finally have my own copy! Apart from the pics being  it carries a really brilliant interview, I loved the bit in it where the interviewer describes Bono as an incurable socialiser as he keeps chatting to people as he goes to go home fantastic! I really wanted to buy Blackbook but well being a poor person, it's hard to keep buying everything, damn it!:( I pushed the boat out however and got Q with the awards feature thought they were looking really good at that and Bono would add yet another flirtee to his long list with Jamelia wouldn't he?! Whata charmer he is

As much as I love the Clash, I am so sick of seeing their mugs on the Uncut I don't want!!

Now I gotta find Spin. That won't be as tricky.

I can't believe you haven't found Uncut. I went to Tower today and they had 2 huge stacks of them and even had a bunch by the cash register.

I do think that the truck carrying them out west must have gotten hijacked.

I found the new Q there though. (The 2nd one with Bono & Edge on the cover).

Although they still had last month's Spin, I was there minutes ago but can't even remember who was on that cover though.

Ok I'm gonna have to go check Borders again and see if they have Uncut...and now Spin.

This isn't too exciting but the latest Entertainment Weekly (w/ the cast of Alexander on the front) mentioned U2 three times that I saw.

Any chance you can scan the cover or describe the picture? Where did you find it?
