Hi out there!!
Does anybody know if there's any plan to release the documentary that accompanied the Lovetown tour? It featured amazing versions of Hawknoon 269, Desire, God Part 2, All I Want is you, All Along the Watchtower and Love Rescue me. It was one of the best U2 programmes ever but has never been released on Video or DVD.
Also, a couple of years previously(new Years Eve 87/88) there was a U2 documentary following the band on the US leg of The Joshua Tree tour. As well as showing the videos of In God's Country and Spanish Eyes, it also had great footage of the band playing some country hits in a kinda "cowboy type" bar, playing pool, as well as buying new cowboy hats and boots.
If anyone knows about any planned release, please let me know!
I thought they would go well as bonus material on any future DVD of Best of U2 1980-1990.

Both documentaries are avaiable for download on most sites.
(The Australian docu is called Lovetown and the US Joshua Tree doc is called Outside It's America).

As for official releases on future DVDs....ain't heard anything about it.
