U2 just picked up the Peoples choice award for the act who's name was nominated the most times across all the categories, Bono and Edge made a witty speech from New York.

If these are really the winners, then I can't disagree more.

Radiohead is, to be diplomatic, FAR from the "best" of anything. They are ridiculously over-rated. Maybe "best ALTERNATIVE band" but hardly best in the world today.

As for live act - while I haven't seen Manic Street Preachers - I've seen numerous other artists and they aren't even close to U2's live show.

Therefore, if these are truly the winners, I've just lost a bit of respect for Q and their "awards."
