"Bad"

That's always been the plan.

"Theme From The Swan," though, would be a damn-ass close second.

"A Man and a Woman," so death won't sound so bad in comparison.

Axver would no doubt want to go out like Joey Ramone with "In A Little While."

"Midnight is where the day begins" would be a good line to keep in mind walking toward the bright light at the end of the tunnel.

Good choice indeed!

Vertigo... times 2

But most likely All Because Of You. I'm a big fan of being a smartass so I'd love to kick the bucket right when B-man sings "I'm ALIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE!"

Oops, guess not.

Somehow I get the feeling I'd rather go out with One Tree Hill.

I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For

....

Actually not, but wouldn't that be sad.

Stuck in a Moment You Can't Get Out Of?

I go through phases with different songs, so it might depend on when this happened, but Always seems to have an appropriate beginning except I don't like the song nearly as much as a lot of stuff in the catalogue.

Exit...

I'm suprised nobody's said Kite....

And those are just songs that haven't been mentioned that might be fitting. What I'd really choose would be so overwhelming that I might have to go for a tiebreaker: the Beautiful Day mix that a local radio station did last October interspersed with calls of the Red Sox as we won the World Series. Uplifting song and the two loves of my life.

A Sort Of Homecoming (the version from Wide Awake In America, but with the crowd edited out.)

:hmm: Now that I think of it, "Death" could be described a sort of homecoming.

Axver circa September 2004 would've gone out with Vertigo :sexywink:

Axver circa November 2005 is coming to kick your arse!

Im gonna go with Levitate as well. I was only thinking of album songs, but Levitate would be  to go out on.

If not, Id pick a live version of One, maybe from Slane, with the extra verse at the end.

This thread is too sad, why should I think about death?????

Why not, "what is the U2 song you want to hear during an orgasm???"

Way better..........................................
