talk of the number of songs on an album is totally inane. Pink Floyd's Wish you Were Here is 5 songs, but something like 50 minutes long I think. whereas The Beatles' Abbey Road is 17 songs and about the same length (approx.) So, as long as the album isn't too short (30 minutes or so) or too long (60-70 minutes is way too long for a band like U2) than that's fine. but even when all is said and done it IS the quality of the material that really matters.
