The Fly
The setting: Ava with friend, drinking beer & watching Popmart in Mexico. Then watching clips from Elevation. Then ZooTv in Sydney. Drinking more beer. Ava flips on Elevation and plays the Fly. In awe of U2's new version, Ava puts on ZooTv for comparison... a conversation ensues...
Ava: I feckin' love the new version of the Fly. It rawks.
Friend: Yeah, Elevation has more soul. The band has more soul.
Ava: Yeah man...
Friend: I don't know how to say it, butt hey've got soul.
Ava: Yeah, they've got soul man.
Friend: Yeah.
Ava: They are fresh. This tour is fresh.
Friend: No. Not fresh... RIPE!
Ava: Ripe?
Friend: Yeah, ripe. Elevation. It's ripe.
Ava: Yeah, it's ripe.
So the night continues with the completion of ZooTv Sydney and Ava mimicking the band every chance she gets. One could say she has perfected the intto to Zoo Station, the needle in the arm during RTSS and has even mastered a raw Adam, grooving, head bopping and all around bad ass attitude. It is apparent she needs to work on her Edge air guitar, but all in due time, all in due time. As for Larry... he's a mystery...
