Neither are that proficient, but are great inovators in their own right.

adept: having or showing knowledge and skill and aptitude; "adept in handicrafts"; "an adept juggler"; "an expert job"; "a good mechanic"; "a practiced marksman"; "a proficient engineer"; "a lesser-known but no less skillful composer"; "the effect was achieved by skillful retouching"

id say they are both proficient/transient thoughtbeings

take that back, foul weaver of apostasy

It is only apostasy in a make-believe world where Radiohead's music actually has merit.

There's a difference between being experimental and shoving a fork up your arse, twisting ten times, and calling it experimental. Radiohead are very much in the latter category.

Um, yeah he isn't that proficient as well, but he created a great sound...

if... johnny greenwood, the edge, and tom morello are all deemed "not that proficient" ...

...//... then who is??¿?

John Petrucci. Steven Wilson. Hank Marvin. Roine Stolt. Steve Rothery. Chuck Schuldiner. Paul Masvidal. Yossi Saharon.

Just to name a few.

No, I don't think Dream Theater ever made even the vaguest claim to being experimental.

Technically proficient and progressive, however? Yes.

What happened to you? You had such sanity only a couple of days ago on the whole Beatles issue.

I suppose your plane of thought nosedived into an erupting volcano.
