Sultans of Ping at number 2? And not one Thin Lizzy song included?? Shocking....

And what the hell is Ronan Keating, Paddy Casey, The Corrs, Saw Doctors doing in that list??

And where the hell is My Bloody Valentine - Soon, Rory Gallagher - Tattoo Lady.

Very strange..

Who is this "U2" band and why do they have so many songs on that list?

EDIT: I'm not too familiar with Van Morrison, but was he even popular in the 80's? :reject:

They're a hack group who released an album in the early eighties and then vanished ...

Figures. You have one BIG album, the world loves you, then you disappear...just like the Beatles.

Yeah, six songs from that stupid damn album are on that list. Radio listeners are imbeciles and will vote for any fifteen-seconds-of-fame hack you throw at them. Oppose U2!

No Thin Lizzy????????????
No Undertones???????????
No Waterboys??????????????
No Van Morrison??????????????
No Boomtown Rats?????????????
BULLSHIT LIST!!!

OK so the Corrs make the top 5 but Teenage Kicks by the Undertones doesn't even make the list? somethings not right there....

I may be wrong but I think both Van Morrison and The Undertones are Northern Irish and maybe the list refers to Southern Irish bands?

Paul Brady I think is Northern Irish also. As for the Pogues, most if not all were born in London (although come from Irish families).

Well, half of U2 weren't born in Ireland either ...

Is Adam even an Irish citizen?
