Does anyone know the full history of this song?

was it ever meant to be on POP? why was it never released on anything in its full form besides on the end of violence soundtrack? Why just a remix for the please single?

Personally, it is one of my favorite tracks from that era, and i feel that it could have gotten legs had it been given a chance (both live or on the POP album)...

so what's the deal?

also, i can't help but hear the seeds of another song in there "it's a BEAUTIFUL DAY today. everything is going my way. evern the words are doing what I say..."

I believe it was recorded specifically for the End of Violence soundtrack. I don't think they recorded it during the Pop sessions. It was thrown together fairly quickly for the soundtrack. Didn't they record it in L.A. or something while on tour?

Or how about "Two Hearts Beat As ONE," OMG WTF.

And the Over-reaction Of The Day Award for today goes to ... This Guy Here. *points at thread starter*
