Sorry, I'm really not hardcore.
When I buy U2 singles, I only listen to bits and pieces of each track. If I really like a track, I might listen to the whole thing through. Or I might not, depends on my mood.
I only own a few U2 singles, and I have definitely not heard every single thing on those disks. And it doesn't bother me.
I like the Best Of 1990-2000 CD's just the way they are. No complaints. And I cannot delineate for you the genesis of all the remixes. If the remixes didn't have production dates on them, in most cases you could tell me they're brand new and I wouldn't have any reason to doubt you.
