If the excellent Walk On (single version) had the guitar solo and the "Home" verse...

... it would be in my top 20 U2 songs, maybe even top 10.

Other than the fact it's missing the solo and that verse, I think it kills the album version in every way!

I prefer the album version for some reason
I can just listen to it more often

Zootlesque, You know I am going to ask how I can obtain that, now don't you!! (single version available on ebay or amazon?) and
The Disciple- How about the "Hybrid version?"
Walk On is:drool:
Thanks in advance.

 Post your email id.

The single version is available on that EP titled U2 7.

And could I please have the two mixes?

On the subject of Walk On, I rather liked the live version from the Tribute To Heroes disc.

i have never found this song to be remotely interesting.

it's riddled with teenage cliche's, and the music itself is uninspiring at best.

this is not an atyclb rant. this is a walk on rant.

fly little bird! fly for freeeeeedom! yeaah!!

lame. i've found more inspiration in a public washroom.

I like the single mix, not sure if I've heard the hybrid mix. My favorite version is the Grammy performance. That also has the "home" version and I like the choir at the end and Bono's wailing.

I don't understand that at all. This singles version of the song is easily one of the best U2 songs ever. Top 10 without a doubt.
