Think I should? If no other cities are added to the ones that have come out already, then I probably won't be going since the closest show is Denver or Austin.

And if I renew this week, will I still be eligible for tickets anyway? And that's even IF they offer them.

You might as well try to renew as soon as possible, if for no other reason than to get the magazine. As for getting tickets, if you're in a rush, try signing up on their website if you have a credit card. Hopefully it'll be processed faster if you do that. Then again, it looks extremely doubtful that they will be offering tickets anyway.
