I'm sorry I haven't been able to post since 12-21, but this is NOT true for anyone wondering.

It turns out i caught the tale-end of a Fox news affiliate broadcast joking about this, and in horror I reacted.

They joked about it to kind of slam Aerosmith for last year, before they said it they "wondered if U2 would play SBS"

i am sure by now ya'all know this to be false, so I hope this clears it up anyways

i can't believe you guys are surprised. the half time show has to appeal to as many people as possible. sadly, U2 doesn't appeal to everyone and therefore can not perform alone. it's all about ratings. sick, but true.

the best we can hope is that they don't have to perform together.
