I just heard the "real" version on NYC's 104.3

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.

It is very very similar. The beginning is a slight difference (guitars are a little less chimey) and there are a couple very small differences, but by no means is it reworked. If you liked the demo, you'll like the real version, and vice versa.

I'm surprised that Q104.3 played "Electrical Storm" early. That station seems to pride itself on being THE Classic Rock station in the NYC area, which means that they'd rather play the same old same old that was big when I was in high school?a LONG time ago! They don't seem as on top of new releases as they should be, IMHO.

I'd expect that WLIR (92.7 fm) or even WPLJ (95.5 fm) would be playing new U2, too. 'PLJ really played a lot of ATYCLB singles as well as "When The Stars Go Blue" earlier this year.

Hmmm...guess it's time to get my radio out of mothballs and listen for new U2...!
