I couldnt figure how to link on this board, so i copied the URL at the bottom, it's the year end Billboard top 100 Albums, my question is this, how many of these albums do you actually own?

Maybe I am getting old or popular music sucks ass, but I only have 3 on this whole list and I am an avid music collector.
U2-ATYCLB, Tool -Lateralus, Incubus-Make Yourself

my personal year end top 5:
1-Tool- Lateralus
2-Depeche Mode-Exciter
3-Radiohead-Amnesiac
4-Tomahawk-Tomahawk
5-STP-Shangri La-De-Da

I have U2 and matchbox twenty. Also a copy of the CD by Linkin Park. I didn't see Radiohead on there, which was odd.

Well, the REM album didn't sell very well here at all. But Amnesiac opened at #2, though it could have dropped off very quickly.

hmmm, I have 4.

U2, Creed, Lifehouse and Weezer.

Although- I am planning on buying the "O Brother Where Art Thou?" soundtrack eventually- that is very good as well.

U2, Outkast, Tool

Looking for good music on a Top 100 from Billboard is pointless. It just reflects what the masses like, which you could pretty much figure out by just watching MTV or VH1. Good music is always around you just have to dig deeper.

I personally would rather have cd's that were on the "Best album" lists done by ratings rather than sales.

Hmmm, let's see I have 7... Ok, wait a sec. do I have to be totally honest? Oh, alright... This is too much information for you guys though:

Dido - 'No Angel'
U2 - 'ATYCLB'
N'SYNC - 'No Strings Attached' (was a gift)
Ricky Martin - 'Sound Loaded' (again... a gift)
Nelly Furtado - 'Whoa Nelly'
David Gray - 'White Ladder'
Charlie's Angels - 'Soundtrack'

Ok, why do they call it the Billboard 200, when there are only 100 albums listed? And where the hell is Coldplay? Travis? REM? Radiohead? I own all those!!! Grrr

After a quick look at that Bill-bored list, the question that begs to be asked is, "Just who the hell is buying the music these days?"

I'll take a crap year with a U2 album over a great year without one.
