How BIG is this album gonna get???

They were playing u2's version of neon lights this morning, if they can play that they can play pretty much anything from this album on the radio imo.

This is U2's Abbey Road. This is an album for men and women and those with a true ear for music, not for 14 year old kids that are asking for allowence money to go out and get a Britney Spears album.

I Could definatly see why they were thinking about naming this album Hanover Quay now it truely does seem like a suitable title for it.

Will it be huge yes and it will be a consistant seller over many years just like Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby.

I quite frankly thought that was the failure of ATYCLB if there was one is that it was a little bit too radio friendly.

Achtung Baby = Sgt. Pepper
Zooropa = Magical Mystery Tour/Strawberry Fields/Penny Lane?
Pop = White Album?
ATYCLB = Let It Be?

I see where you're going.
And Revolver is Rattle and Hum?

Oh my god... I see the pattern.

Rattle And Hum was trad-rock, Revolver was mind-blowing for its time, very innovative, so i don't think that is a good comparison


I am pleased to hear the Abbey Road comparison for the new album, points to a very grand, assured piece of work.
