I like his Popmart voice.
I'm sure i wouldn't like it applied to other tours, but i've been brainwashed into thinking it doesn't sound crap

I would agree. I think his vocals on Vertigo were the best they have been since the late 80's.

Infact Popmart Edmonton both shows had some of Bonos best vocals on the entire tour. I have heard most of the shows off that tour, Mexico is someplace in the middle of that list not great and not bad but it was still a great show, and certainly had more magic then either Chicago or Boston as far as a band performance.

And still Bono wasnt even able to sing the OTH snippet good on ZooTV, he sang the song alot better on Vertigo.
Bono's voice on Vertigo tour was much stronger in High notes and holding high notes, his basic voice, the one when he sings not low and not very high was a bit stronger on ZooTV but Vertigo Bono wins when it comes to the high notes and I think high notes wins.
